Meet Xena!

Xena was found in a basement just hours after giving birth under distressing conditions. Upon meeting her, we noticed that she had organs outside of her body and that she was in pain. Xena kept pushing through and was a great mother as she continued to nurse her just-born kittens. We immediately stepped in to provide Xena the medical care she so desperately needed.

Since then, Xena has continued to show so much strength and motherly love. She is now looking for a forever home and family to spend the rest of her life with.

Xena is such an incredible and resilient cat. She doesn't mind being around people, but does value her own space. She likes to play with her toys, especially when someone holds up her wand! She has not fully adjusted to being at home as she has lived most of her life in someone's basement. In her current foster home, she has allowed nose pettings and enjoys being spoken to. Overall, she wants a forever family who will be patient and understanding of her continuous progress towards affection.
