Bruno's world changed in an instant when a house fire took everything his family had, including their ability to care for him and his brother, Milo. Surrendered through no fault of his own, Bruno carried the weight of that trauma with him, but he never stopped trusting in the people who showed up for him.

That's where one of our dedicated volunteers came in. From the very beginning, she was a constant, loving presence in Bruno's life, and week after week, we watched a bond form that was undenable. Her patience and love gave Bruno exactly what he needed to heal, and she decided to adopt Bruno! Bruno is now exactly where he belongs: by his new mum's side, as a beloved member of her family.
