Carmel

Over a year ago, Carmel found his way into our care. He arrived from a shelter down south, a place where the chances of finding a forever family seemed slim. We didn’t know much about his history or how he ended up there, but we did know this: Carmel deserved better.

When he first joined us, he was a sweet and playful cat, with a gentle soul. But having spent so much time in the shelter, Carmel began to shut down. He withdrew, no longer eager to interact with potential adopters who came to see him.

Then, finally, it happened. Someone came into his life who saw the special spirit we had always known was there. They saw beyond his shyness, beyond the years of uncertainty, and they knew that Carmel was the one for them. Now, Carmel is in his forever home, surrounded by a loving family who adores him. He’s never alone anymore, always nestled next to his mama, napping and soaking in all the pets and love he can get.
