Jay came to us with seven of his littermates from a Georgia kill shelter, each one hoping for a fresh start and a brighter future. After arriving, Jay spent some time in a foster home but eventually returned to us. While our volunteers showered him with love and care, it was clear that shelter life wasn’t where this sweet boy was meant to be — he needed the comfort and stability of a forever family.

We never gave up on Jay, and we’re so glad we didn’t. After some time, the perfect match came along: a compassionate family who saw the special soul we all knew was there. Now, Jay has a little human sibling to grow up with! The two love spending time together, especially playing at the park and exploring the world side by side. Today, Jay is blossoming with confidence, joy, and plenty of playtime (and treats!).
