Stevie

Stevie’s story broke our hearts and the hearts of so many who follow our rescue. He was found alone on the street, tiny, malnourished, and disoriented and with both of his eyes painfully ruptured. At just a few months old, he had already endured more suffering than any animal should. A compassionate person brought him to us, and we immediately rushed him to the emergency vet. What we learned there was devastating. Stevie was completely blind, underweight, and in urgent need of multiple surgeries just to relieve his pain and give him a chance at survival. We knew Stevie’s journey would take months of surgeries, round-the-clock care, and so much love, but we were determined to fight for him.

Stevie has endured more than any kitten ever should. He faced immense pain and uncertainty, but we were determined to give him a fighting chance. His journey to healing was not easy, it required extensive treatment for both of his eyes, and eventually, delicate surgery to save one of them. And after his recovery and rehabilitation, he was finally ready for the next chapter in his life: finding a forever home.

That’s when a wonderful family met Stevie and the connection was instant. They saw beyond his past struggles and into the sweet, playful, loving spirit that had survived it all. Now, Stevie is home, surrounded by love, affection, and so much joy. His new parents absolutely adore him, and he’s living the happy life he always deserved.
