A group of 8 volunteers came to the shelter and spent the day cleaning inside the dog kennels and reorganizing our stock room. Other volunteers washed windows and vacuumed the shelter.
A group of 8 students spent the day cleaning and organizing the shelter facility. They made sure each cage was washed and wiped for the rescues to rest comfortably in a clean enclosure. Some students vacuumed and washed the floors while others organized supplies used at the shelter facility.
A group of 10 volunteers from Byte NY has spent the day at the AMA Animal Rescue shelter. Volunteers were divided into small groups which were responsible for different things such as: cleaning the shelter, walking the dogs, socializing with cats, administrative assistance as well as organizing supplies in storage.
The three volunteers Shadae Moore, Maykl Iliyasov and Samuel Shork as well as their counselor spent their volunteer hours vacuuming, washing the floors and walls, organizing supplies and doing administrative work in the office.
The girls spent their time looking for businesses who would accept an AMA donation box as well as raised funds for the organization.
