Coconut is furry and full of hair on the outside, but you'll find he's also super sweet on the inside once he opens up to you, just like a real coconut! This furry sweetheart was found in a dumpster of a supermarket, and he was rescued by a kind family who brought him to our shelter. Coconut was in need of medical assistance, and we were able to help him receive the care he needed.

As we've spent time with Coconut and watched him recover, we've learned that he's a very sweet but quiet dog who's still not quite out of his shell. He tends to get anxious in unfamiliar situations and doesn't do well with sudden movements. For that reason, a home without small children would be best for him. But despite that shell that Coconut hides in, we’ve seen glimpses of his pure heart and beautiful personality whenever he wags his tail or reaches out for cuddles. We know that with the right company, Coconut can transform into an amazing and outgoing dog who spreads love and joy everywhere he goes!
