Dusty
Now that the dust has settled, it looks like you've landed on Dusty's page! This shy furball tends to hide and curl up into a dust ball, tucking his head and tail in for that signature look, but a sure-fire way to get him to open up to you is with head scratches and back rubs!
Dusty was originally rescued by a Trap, neuter and release group. However, he was too young to be released back into the wild out on his own, so he was brought to our shelter in hopes of finding him a home. Dusty is still adjusting to this new lifestyle of playing with human friends, so he would appreciate a companion who is willing to take things slow and go at his pace. He promises that he won't dust up your place too much, as he often keeps himself well-groomed and clean!
Dusty tends to keep to himself, but he’ll quietly slink into your room and enjoy your presence from afar while in the safety of his comfort zone. You might find yourself wondering why there's a giant ball of dust in the corner before realizing it's just Dusty enjoying his afternoon nap! While Dusty is quite introverted, he doesn’t mind being petted and pampered, and he may even come to you to seek out more in the future.
