Shaggy was digging through the garbage for food scraps when he was found by a good Samaritan, who immediately took action to help. After Shaggy was safely secured, our organization was contacted to provide further assistance. Shaggy was in a severely malnourished and dehydrated condition. Not only did his body show signs of emaciation, but he had visibly healed scars and fresh wounds. It was clear Shaggy had gone through a horrific and traumatic experience. We rushed him to the emergency hospital where he was stabilized and received the necessary treatments.

Now that Shaggy's condition has improved, he's on the lookout for a partner to accompany him on his various escapades and thrilling quests! Shaggy is an excellent detective and sleuthing is his favorite pastime. On walks, he'll gather evidence to add to his case files by sniffing out clues with his keen nose. Eventually, he'll locate the best block in the neighborhood for strolls—with you, of course! Shaggy is still working on overcoming his anxieties, but we know that with the right companion and proper guidance, he can become the best pawsible dog there is and your buddy for life!
