Toto has gone a long way on the yellow brick road, but he hasn't reached home yet! His journey’s not over till he finds his forever home. Luckily, the AMA family is here to help him (even if our shelter isn’t as big and green as the Emerald City). And don’t worry, unlike Oz, we are dedicated to making dreams come true—no magic tricks or sleight of hand here!

Sadly, the story of this Toto isn’t as rosy as his storybook counterpart. He was found tied to a rope on the street. Thankfully, a passerby freed him and brought him here to our shelter for help. The next arc of Toto’s story now is about finding his forever home. And his happily ever after isn’t complete without a wonderful friend by his side to guide him on his future journeys!

Toto is a loyal and quick-witted companion, and he’s very playful and friendly. But he’s still quite curious around other dogs, and he would need someone to help him learn the best way to introduce himself so he can make lots of amazing new friends! Toto is also adventurous and has lots of stamina and energy. His fun adventures consist of going on long walks around the neighborhood and exploring the scenery around him, sniffing and pawing anything of interest.
