Zayn's story is heartbreaking. He was found running loose in a parking lot in Brooklyn, blood gushing out of the wound on his head. Luckily, the people who worked nearby were able to catch him. Once he was given to us, we realized how bad his wound was. It seemed as if he received blunt trauma to his head recently. Zayn was also skinny and smelled as if he was living in filth his entire life. He was immediately rushed for medical care, were we informed that he had a fractured skull and would need surgery to hopefully save his life. We could not believe someone would do this to sweet Zayn, but luckily the doctors were able to treat his fractured skull. Zayn was taken in by a wonderful foster home that is currently treating him for heartworm. He is currently looking for his forever family, one that can give him all the love he never received before.
