Bailey
We received an urgent plea about a small dog that wobbled into someone's store and collapsed. It was obvious he was in an immense amount of pain. The pup was constantly crying, unable to properly stand or walk, and covered in dry feces from what seemed like years of neglect. Once we saw how distressed this poor pup was, we knew right away that we had to take this case on. We named him Bailey and immediately rushed him to the vet. Once we got Baily to the hospital, it was impossible to touch him without causing him pain, and we hadn’t even begun shaving all the matted fur off of his body. The only option we had was to put him under anesthesia, shave his body clean, and hope not to discover anything too horrible underneath. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. His body was riddled with infections, and worse of all, his behind area had multiple maggots in it. No wonder he was so painful and uncomfortable... But with our supporter's help, we were able to provide the necessary care, giving this little pup his second chance in life. It took a long while for Bailey to leave his past behind him. But as time went on, we started to see more and more of a playful, sweet dog instead of a terrified one. And once all the wounds had been healed, all we had to do was wait for the right person to notice Bailey. And guess what? After a few failed adoption applications, one finally stood out! This was a perfect match, and we couldn't be happier to announce that Bailey is no longer homeless! Enjoy the rest of your life, little guy. We will always miss you ❤️
