We rescued Emmy about a year ago, she was left outside tied up, without food or water in the summer heat. Kind people gave her a bowl of food and water, which she finished up so quickly (who knows how long she's been out there starving and thirsty.) We were then contacted and of course, we were not letting her end up in a kill shelter. Emmy happened to have serious food aggression issues, even a strong smell of food could set her off. Luckily we found one amazing foster family that made it their mission to work on these issues and failure was not an option. They took their time and were very patient and persistent with her. As suspected this foster family loved her so much that they just had to have her as their very own. Emmy couldn't be happier with her perfect happy ending and either can her family!
