King
King was rescued from a kill shelter about three years ago. After months of searching for a perfect home, we thought we found one and King was adopted. Unfortunately, two years later we were contacted by King's adopter and he had to surrender King back to us due to personal issues. We felt awful for King but we were not going to give up on finding him a permanent home. At first, he wasn't taking the separation from his previous owner very well, he would whine and cry while in boarding. We weren't able to find a foster home right away so King started showing signs of aggression due to being stuck in a cage for weeks. Luckily one day an amazing family contacted us from a different part of the country and inquired about the adoption. We couldn't say no to this opportunity simply because of the distance so we proceeded. We looked up options for transportation for our beloved furry boy. It wasn't easy, but with the support from King's amazing adopters, we were able to find a company who drove King all the way to his new family. All of it was more than worth it! King is now living like a true King, with people who will never turn their back on him.
