Who remembers Mango? A kind passerby noticed a tiny, stray kitten on the side of the road with no mother or other kittens in sight. Concerned for her safety, they scooped her up but knew right away that something was wrong. They were alarmed to see something protruding from her behind and contacted us for urgent help. They had never seen anything like it, but we have. We knew immediately that it was a rectum prolapse which has to be addressed surgically and without delay or the tissue will thicken, get infected, and become necrotic. This poor baby was absolutely traumatized at such a young age, but with your help, we were able to get her back on her feet. Mango's story touched many hearts, and so many of our supporters were following Mango's progress. By the time the holidays came, Mango was fully healed and placed in a foster home. Her foster mom quickly realized that the sweet kitten was meant to stay with her for good. Shortly after, the official adoption followed. And the rest is history!
