Pipper

Who remembers Pipper? She was rescued with four other siblings a few months ago. Unfortunately, shortly after joining us, she was diagnosed with panleukopenia, a highly contagious viral disease of cats caused by the feline parvovirus. Kittens are most severely affected by the virus. We were so nervous to find out if the other four kittens got it, too, since all were kept together. But luckily, we caught it early enough that only Pipper was sick. We quickly rushed her to the emergency hospital, where doctors began the fight for her life. Our sweet girl Pipper was lucky despite the mortality being as high as 90 percent for panleukopenia. After weeks of medical boarding, she finally won the battle and was fully recovered. She was ready to start the search for her happily ever after now more than ever! And she, of course, deserved that and so much more. Pipper's personality began to shine the moment we took her out of the medical boarding. She was one of the most comical kittens we've ever rescued, and we knew that whoever gets to welcome her into their home would be a fortunate person. Pipper, now Margot Elizabeth Blake Harper, waited and waited until we received that one excellent adoption application that we knew right away had to be it. And boy, oh boy, we were right! This sweet angel is now living the life, spoiled and loved, and if you'd like, you can even follow her adventures here -> https://www.instagram.com/margotmeetsthecity/. This news absolutely made our day, and we hope it brightens up your day as well. Enjoy the rest of your life, Pipper! We will always miss you.
