Remember Poison Ivy, one of the pups we rescued from the kill shelter in Georgia? She was a beautiful pup with a lot of puppy energy. And even though people love and adore puppies, not everyone realizes how much work it is to raise these mischievous rascals. For that reason, we were very selective in who will be approved to adopt Poison Ivy. But when one amazing family applied, we knew this was it for her. We knew that Poison Ivy had found her forever home. There’s nothing as rewarding as watching our pets going into their forever homes. Finally, healthy and no longer homeless. All the hard work we put into saving their lives is for these moments. When we know that we did it. When we know that this is the beginning of their happily ever after.
