Our senior girl, Shannon, has faced a challenging life. She and her brother endured years of neglect until their owner passed away, leaving them without anyone to care for them. When we received the call for assistance, we promptly welcomed both pups into our care. Shannon, in particular, was in such a dire state that she had to undergo a complete shave due to severe matting. Unfortunately, her difficulties didn't end there. Shannon also battled a severe tooth infection, necessitating a course of antibiotics before undergoing extensive dental surgery. Having endured so much already, it was imperative that we provided her with the necessary procedure to ensure her golden years would be free from pain. Fortunately, Shannon proved to be a resilient fighter and successfully navigated all the treatments and procedures required. During this time, an incredible family expressed their desire to adopt our girl. After reviewing their application, we knew they were the perfect match. The rest, as they say, is history! Shannon is no longer without a home and is now relishing a life filled with the love and care she has always deserved.
